School uniforms in the Republic of Kazakhstan for boys and girls are mostly in all public schools - dark blue. Private schools may have their own school uniform design. Wearing a uniform at school is compulsory. According to the order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 26 “On Approval of the Requirements for Compulsory School Uniforms for Secondary Education Organizations”, the style and color of the school uniform must be kept in a classic style, in a single color scheme, mixing no more than 3 colors is allowed.
